Working in the Yard

Last night we helped Dad water the trees. Anthony said this morning that he wished he could do yesterday all over again because he had so much fun playing in the water.

Hey Dad, I can help you with that.

I have this all under control.

No, this is how you do it.

Taking a break from the work.

This is the best part of watering.

Zoo

On Tuesday we took Declan and Emma and all of the grown-ups to the zoo. It was a really nice day so we brought our bathing suits along to play in the water. We were all tired after this outing!

What a fun day!

Train Park

We've had a busy week. Our friends, Declan and Emma, are visiting from New York. They even brought their mom and dad with them. On Monday after school we went to Anthony's favorite place, the Train Park. We love to go there and ride the train and carousel.

We're so excited to be here!

Get ready, Declan!

Love this ride!

Someday, I'll be driving this thing.

Garage Sale

Our neighborhood had a garage sale last Saturday, so we decided to help Mom and Dad. It was fun - we got to eat breakfast in the garage.
Great way to start the day!

Maybe someone will buy this if they see me sitting in it.

Backyard Landscape

After over 2 years living in our house, we finally have a backyard! Yippee!!! Now we just have to wait another week before we can walk on the grass.

Dad's Birthday

Last Tuesday we celebrated Dad's birthday. Mom and Anthony made a carrot cake for him - it was yummy (Thanks for the recipe, JoEllen!) Our friend, Paige, came over and played with us in the afternoon. We have so much fun when she comes over!

Happy Birthday Dear Daaaaadddy, Happy Birthday to You!

We love to play Wii!

Boys' Day Out

Today Dad took Anthony to his first major league baseball game. He's been to Spring Training games and to a couple of games before he turned 1, but we've waited for him to be old enough to remember and possibly appreciate the experience. Today they saw the Diamondbacks play the Rockies. Chase Field has added a kids' area this season. Between getting to play there and the ballpark food, he had a great day!
Waiting for the game to start

Yummy!

Would You Like Fries With That?

This afternoon we decided to fix some Happy Meals. Mom was our customer, and she sampled everything we fixed her. It was great and great fun, too!
Here's your ice cream!

You know you're not supposed to eat on the job, Anthony.

I am refusing to look at my mom with her camera.

Birthday Parties

Both kids went to birthday parties Easter weekend. Emily's friend, Avery, turned 1, so Emily went to her first party without Anthony. And Kaylie, Anthony's friend from school, turned 4. Both parties had a pinata and yummy cake. Kaylie had a bouncy house at her party which was a huge hit. The parties were a blast!

Aaargh! A Pirate Party

Our friend, Adam, turned 3 last week and had a Pirate Party for his birthday. It was so much fun. We got to dress up as pirates and go on a treasure hunt. The treasure was a pinata which was filled with lots of goodies.
We're ready to go to the party.
